…it's a passionate obsession.

cropmeHahaha I hate this bit, ok, here goes.

One thing I am not, and thats a writer. So my posts won’t be 5000 words long. However, I am a gardener, photographer, artist and cupcake fanatic with a love of the lake district – which I hope to make many return visits, starting this year.

My passion for all things garden, started 7 years ago…

…as allotment fever gripped the country like an epidemic. The once old-fashioned allotment became as rare a find, as hen’s teeth. So how incredibility lucky was I, to find myself with the keys to one.  From that day forth, my life has changed forever. Having spent previous years in catering confined to hot sweaty kitchens not seeing the light of day, the allotment was quite literally a breath of fresh air. Making the transition from a highly pressurised job to a calmer way of living has allowed my creative soul to resurface, rekindling my lust for life and the need to do it for myself.

What started out as a place to pass time and a hobby, has now grown into an intense enjoyable passion, growing stronger as each season grows.
